For those who crave a 4WD adventure in the safety of an experienced and committed crew and in the comfort of their own 4WD then Variety Queensland’s 'Head to the Hills' 4WD Explorer adventure is for you!

Beginning on November 6 in Sydney, at the eco friendly Q-Station resort, the 4WD Explorers will head to the Hills, travelling through some of Australia’s most spectacular country. Visiting the Jenolan caves, Bright and Mount Buller among others, the 4WD Explorers will have the opportunity to experience countryside that inspired Banjo Patterson to pen ‘The Man From Snowy River’.

Along the way, entrants will enjoy off the beaten tracks, extraordinary scenery, scrumptious food and the fun and hilarity associated with all Variety events. Along the way you will also experience what Variety does best - putting big smiles on little faces!

What is the Variety 4WD Explorer

• 10 day 4WD adventure on challenging, fun, dirt roads and tracks; and at all times in comfort and style
• Off beaten tracks amongst remarkable scenery, fabolous food and plenty of fun
• Suited to adventurous spirits who are dedicated to improving the lives of special Queensland children
• Caters to 4wd enthusiasts of all abilities

How it works

• Travel with an experienced and committed crew
• A healthy sense of humour is a pre-requisite
• Have a respect and love of the Australian Countryside
• Enjoy 5 million star accomodation, fine food, great entertainment and worry-free good times
• Entrants pay a $550 entry fee and each car is required to raise a minimum of $4,500 (tax deductible)
• An additional provisions levy covers all food, accommodation and special event
