Young emerging, innovative and established artists will again unite their works for the Young Variety Heart Art Show.
As
an avenue to display work, network with artists and industry
stakeholders and to donate their creations to raise funds for the
special kids of Queensland, the Heart Art Show is just that - an art
show with heart.
Held at the retro funk Pandemonium Cafe in
the always trendy Paddington, the 2010 Heart Art Show will see a
greater emphasis on quality artworks - making this event one of the
most unique and accessible ways to purchase fantastic creations at a
price not seen in the galleries!
Throughout the night, art enthusiasts and artists alike will be treated to delicious tasty treats and funky DJ beats at the humble lime green café.
Submitted artworks will be
auctioned on the evening, raffles and merchandise will be available for
purchase. All proceeds go to Young Variety care of Variety- the
children's charity QLD
There will be a cheap cash bar
available and the opportunity to get yourself creative by spraying,
painting, chalking, drawing, stencilling and decorating the Pandemonium
car park walls… old school street style..

We are looking for emerging and innovative artists! If you would like to donate an original piece of art: drawing, paintings, sketches, sculptures, fashion, photography etc and have any questions contact Michelle Janssen, our Heart Art Show Curator on 0434 554 636 or michellej@varietyqld.org.au
You work/s will be;
- automatically entered into the People's Choice Award and in with a chance to WIN!
- promoted in pre and post Heart Art Show media
- auctioned off bundled with an Artist's Authenticity template courtesy of Variety Queensland
- feature alongside your biography and artist contact details in the event catalogue - contact details are printed with consent only
As an artist, you will receive:
- discounted entry to the event
- an artist's lanyard which identifies you to our VIP guests
- the opportunity to have your work critiqued by professional art critics
- meet VIP guests, lecturers and industry professionals
