We have
a winner!!!
Our Harley
Davidson Art Union was drawn late March at The Coffee Club Park Road, with
plenty of people on hand to help celebrate the occasion, including little
Matilda Wilson who was a beneficiary of the funds that were raised through this
Art Union.
With just
on 1200 tickets sold, it was pretty good odds for anyone who purchased a
ticket. In the end Lyle Cantoni, a long-time Variety supporter from Ingham, was
the lucky winner. Lyle enters a car into the Variety Bash each year with his
brother Andrew and has raised plenty of money for the special kids of
Queensland over the years.
All in all,
the gross proceeds from the Art Union was just over $60,000 for the special
kids of Queensland, a great effort from all involved.
Thanks must go to Greg Pond from The Coffee Club Park
Road, and all The Coffee Club supporters and customers who got involved with
this fundraiser. Thanks also to all the Variety supporters who got out there
and sold tickets and even purchased tickets themselves.
