Brisbane to the Bearded Dragon (via the Border Ranges)
16th - 17 October

Join us for a fun filled and spectacular ride as we depart from Brisbane and head south over the border into New South Wales. We’ll then wind our way back through the ranges, over the Queensland border and through the gap to a welcoming finish at Tamborine.

Our departure point will be The Coffee Club on Park Rd where we’ll then travel towards the Outpost Cafe in Canungra for a quick coffee and then continue our scenic ride along the McPherson ranges and towards the famous Lions Ring Road. The Manning Family from Variety Bash Car 207 and AW 207 will be will be providing us lunch in Kyogle.

Our overnight stop at Cherrabah Homestead Resort is nestled high in the Border Ranges. With entertainment and a warm fire to gather around we’re sure it will be another Ride 4 Kids event talked about for months to come.

Sunday will be just as spectacular as we ride through some fabulous rainforests then it’s down Cunningham’s Gap to The bearded Dragon to cross the finish line of yet another successful Ride 4 Kids.

The Ride 4 Kids is taking riders in yet another direction and allowing them to experience a countryside, comradeship and compassion that everyday riders may not normally experience and all the while helping Queensland children who are sick, disadvantaged or have special needs to live, laugh and learn.

Easter Ride

What does a bunny and a motorcycle have in common?...

Together they bring big smiles to little faces thanks to Variety's Easter Ride 4 Kids event.

This year's Easter Ride 4 Kids event will be held on Sunday 28th March. This ride is all about bringing some much needed happiness to the kids who need it the most.

The day will start with a hearty breakfast at The Coffee Club at Park Rd Milton.

After breakfast we'll head straight to the Wesley Hospital and then onto the Royal Children's Hospital to spread the Easter cheer and brighten the children's ward, then head to the Royal Children's Hospital to bring some joy to the kids there.

After our lively morning visits and once we have spread some Easter cheer, we then depart for a quick ride to The Breakfast Creek Hotel, where you can grab some lunch and a well deserved refreshment.

Ride 4 Kids 2

To Bundy and Back
6 & 7 March 2010

Join us as we depart the Ettamogah Pub North of Brisbane bright and early Saturday morning. We'll make our way up the coast towards Bundaberg where we will arrive early afternoon, allowing those rum lovers amongst us the opportunity to take a tour of the Bundaberg Rum Distillery.

We will overnight in the nearby coastal town of Burnett Heads with dinner arranged at the lovely local pub. Sunday morning will see us head South again, this time taking the inland roads as we meander back towards Brisbane, finishing up in Gympie by lunch.

Sound enticing and you want to come along? Want some friends to come along as well? Remember, we do it for the kids!

Caboolture to Leyburn

3 & 4 October 2009

Heading West over this weekend, to Dalby via the Bunya Mountains, this course seemed custom made for motorcycles with scenery for everyone to enjoy including roads that wound their way through small towns with a few long straights thrown into the mix.

While the participant numbers were a little down on the inaugural ride in February, the total funds raised all but matched the initial event, with $8,700 added to the kitty, a phenomenal effort for these avid motorcycle enthusiasts.
